Having always taken an interest in animals, I have worked in many animal related fields including vet clinics, pet food stores, humane societies, and the research station.  I graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc. in Zoology.  I also enjoy learning about pet nutrition and work for a pet food company as well.  I live in Lethbridge with my husband, son and our cat, Matisse and dog, Laska.  Laska, an Irish Setter, brings smiles to people she visits as a Pet Therapy dog, and we also do Agility together.

I have lived in Lethbridge my whole life and am a 2008 graduate of the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT in Fairview. I have loved animals my whole life and my pets are my world. I have 3 cats; Sandy, a domestic shorthair, Skye, a Singapura, and Muggles, a Devon Rex (who is in the picture). I also have a Papillon named Sophie whom I plan on doing obedience and agility with. I believe that patient care and continuing education are strong values and moving forward with technology in the veterinary field is very important.

After graduating from the Lethbridge Community College in 2000, I was the office manager for a local veterinary clinic. In 2001 I started as an Office Assistant at LCC and in September 2005 joined the U of L Faculty of Fine Arts. In September 2006 I began working part-time at UPH and really enjoy that each day is a new experience. My greatest joy is spending time with my nieces and nephews. Family is a huge part of my life.

Linda

I was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and moved in May 2009 to Canada for one year. June 2005, I graduated from my education: animal health care and Veterinary assistant. July 2008 I graduated with my bachelor degree in Livestock Production. After my last graduation I decided to go to Canada for one year. I like this country because of the friendly people and silence, compared with the Netherlands. Currently I am working as a Veterinary assistant at the Uplands Pet Hospital. In my spare time, I like to work outside on the farm, enjoy horse riding and visiting events here in Canada.
